Starting PharmaClik Rx
You can launch PharmaClik Rx Quick Launch from the server workstation. All other computers (workstations) in your pharmacy will launch PharmaClik Rx only.
To launch PharmaClik Rx, from the server workstation desktop, press or double-click the PharmaClik Rx icon.
Result: PharmaClik Rx Quick Launch automatically opens applications that are required to run PharmaClik Rx. To learn more about each application, click the arrow beside each heading below. Once all applications have been launched, a window will open prompting for your login credentials. For instructions on logging on, see Logging into PharmaClik Rx
TPS (Transaction Processing Service) processes all prescription claims including cash, third party, or offline. TPS is functional when "Ready" displays in the Connection Monitor Status next to the date and time.
THS (Transaction Handling Service) allows for adjudication of prescriptions to online third parties. THS is functional when "Ready" displays in the Connection Monitor Status next to the date and time.
PHS (Print Handling Service) allows for all PharmaClik Rx prescription labels and reports to be printed. PHS is functional when “Ready” displays in the Connection Monitor Status next to the date and time.
FHS (Fax Handling Service) allows various documents to be faxed directly through PharmaClik Rx. FHS is functional when the word “Ready” displays in the Connection Monitor Status next to the date and time.
Note: The PharmaClik Rx IVR application will only open if it has been installed in your store.
The IVR Interface provides your pharmacy with automated refill reminders and pickup reminders, enabling improved patient compliance and customer service. As with regular patient-initiated inbound IVR refills, the Outbound Calling module requires the PharmaClik Rx Interface Manager to communicate with PharmaClik Rx. Note: The PharmaClik Rx ADI application will only open if it has been installed in your store.
The PharmaClik Rx ADI application will open and is rquired for PharmaClik Rx to interact with automated dispensing devices. Each morning, ensure ADI is started on the workstation from which you will be processing auto-dispensed prescriptions. The PharmaClik Rx Quick Launch window opens upon launching PharmaClik Rx Quick Launch. This window automatically closes one all the applications are launched (i.e. TPS, THS, PHS, FHS).
Manually Starting the Report Scheduler
The Report Scheduler launches automatically when PharmaClik Rx Quick Launch is started. If the Report Scheduler is closed accidentally, you can re-launch it manually.
To manually start the Report Scheduler:
- From the server workstation desktop, press or double-click the McKesson PTS Utilities icon. The McKesson PTS Utilities window opens.
- Select PharmaClik Rx Report Scheduler.
Result: The PharmaClik Rx Report Scheduler opens and is ready for use.
